Privacy
This site is a personal portfolio. It doesn’t sell data, show ads or use your information for anything beyond understanding which content is useful.
What’s collected
If analytics is on and you’ve allowed it (visitors in Europe are asked first), Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics record anonymous usage: pages viewed, clicks and taps, scrolling, device type and approximate location. Clarity may record sessions so I can see how the page is used. Text you type is masked.
Visitors with Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control turned on in their browser aren’t tracked at all.
Feedback
If you use the feedback form, what you write, the page you were on, and your name and email if you add them come to me by email. Depending on how the form is set up, they’re delivered through your own email app or through a form service (Web3Forms or Formspree). If the spam check is on, opening the form loads hCaptcha, which checks that a person, not a bot, is sending. I use your feedback only to improve the site and to reply to you.
Chat
The chat button answers common questions right on the page; nothing you click there is sent anywhere except anonymous analytics events (if allowed). When you type a message and send it, it either goes straight to my inbox through Web3Forms (with the email address you give, so I can reply, and an hCaptcha check against spam) or opens in your email app, WhatsApp or Telegram, whichever I’ve set up. If live chat is turned on, Tawk.to loads only when you start a chat, and handles that conversation under its privacy policy.
Performance measurement
To keep the site fast, your browser reports how quickly each page loaded and responded (Core Web Vitals), with the page address, device type (phone or computer) and, from Cloudflare, your country. This is sent to the site’s own monitoring service on Cloudflare without cookies or any identifier, and kept for 90 days. The combined results are public on the Site health page. Visitors with Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control turned on aren’t measured.
Layout testing
I sometimes test two versions of the home page to see which one helps visitors more. Your browser remembers which version you were shown (a short label stored on your device, nothing personal), so it stays the same when you come back. If analytics is allowed, that label is included with the usage data above.
